Our Luray Virginia Cabin Rentals are convenient to Caverns Country Club, Luray’s most scenic course. With fairways and greens that overlook the pristine Shenandoah River, the Caverns Golf Course in Luray was designed by Mel Purdy in 1976. Renowned for being the premier spot to enjoy Shenandoah Golf in Virginia, the Caverns Country Club is always a vacationer favorite. In nearby New Market, there is an exceptional golf attraction, Shenvalee. Offering three separate 9-hole courses to enjoy Golf in New Market Virginia, Shenvalee is one of the area’s oldest courses. The first 9-hole course opened to the public in 1927, and the second back nine was created in 1963. Thirty years later, an additional 9-hole course was created by carving out the valley in 1992. This incredibly scenic area the ideal playground for any type of golfer.

The area’s two Virginia Ski Resorts, Massanutten Ski Resort and Bryce Ski Resort are also home to exceptional Northern Virginia Golf Courses. Bryce Resort’s golf course was designed by Ed Ault and it is a 6,260 yard, par 71 championship course. With numerous challenges and hazards, the course at Bryce Resort will enhance any player’s ability and game. Best of all, the course is open year-round, weather permitting, making golf a possibility even on warm days in March!

Massanutten Resort’s first course, the Mountain Greens Golf Course, opened in 1976 and has since been challenging golfers with its mountainous terrain and natural layout. Much of the land that surrounds the course has been preserved offering several opportunities to see the area’s abundant wildlife. Mountain Greens Course underwent restoration in 2003 and was completed in 2006. This course closes each winter season, however, Massanutten’s additional course, Woodstone Meadows, is open year-round. Woodstone Meadows was created in 1998 and offers golfers an exceptionally diverse course. As a par 65, the course consists of several par 3’s and 4’s and a few 5’s.
