Massanutten Ski Resort

Massanutten Ski Resort in Massanutten Virginia is located just 30 miles from our cozy Luray Cabins. Known for being one of the best Ski Resorts in Virginia, Massanutten Ski Resort is a great place to enjoy winter sports like snowboarding, skiing, and even snow tubing. With 14 trails, 7 lifts (including a quad lift), 2 terrain parks, night skiing and plenty of other great amenities, Massanutten Ski Resort is always a winter favorite for visitors staying in our Luray Virginia Vacation Cabins.

Massanutten Ski Resort boasts the longest vertical drop in all of Virginia, Maryland, and Pennslyvania with a fall of 1,155 feet. This sets Massanutten apart from other Ski Resorts in Virginia. Looking out atop Massanutten Mountain's 2,925 foot elevation you can see the charming town of Luray Virginia below. Skiers and snowboarders from all over enjoy the terrain parks, including a large one for advanced terrain park riders and a smaller one for beginners. If you and your loved ones are new to skiing and boarding and would like to try something a bit easier, take a break and go snow tubing. Providing just the right amount of thrills and shrills, snow tubing is a great activity for small children as it resembles sledding.
